Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope is the final raid of Dragonflight, tucked inside the Emerald Dream at the Wellspring of Life. This is Retail-only content — Dragonflight hasn’t reached WoW Classic yet, so there’s no Classic route to include here. This guide covers the full path from Orgrimmar, Stormwind, and Valdrakken.

What Is Amirdrassil? (Retail Only)

Amirdrassil was added in Dragonflight patch 10.2 as the expansion’s third and final raid. It sits inside the Emerald Dream, a separate instanced zone reached only through portals — there’s no flight path or ground route into it directly. Since Dragonflight content hasn’t been added to any Classic version, this is purely a Retail destination.

How to Get to Amirdrassil from Orgrimmar

1. Head into Orgrimmar’s Portal Room, inside the eastern wall of the tunnel leading through the city’s front gate.
2. Walk straight into the main room — don’t take the stairs down to the lower level.
3. Take the portal to Valdrakken, located between the Silvermoon City and Oribos portals.
4. In Valdrakken, head to the Emerald Dream portal near the Seat of the Aspects (requires unlocking the zone through the early Guardians of the Dream campaign chapters).
5. Once in the Emerald Dream, fly northwest to the Wellspring of Life to reach the raid entrance.

How to Get to Amirdrassil from Stormwind City

1. Climb to the top of the Wizard’s Sanctum, Stormwind’s portal room in the Mage Quarter.
2. Turn into the left wing of the room and look for the Valdrakken portal at the end of the hall.
3. In Valdrakken, head to the Emerald Dream portal near the Seat of the Aspects.
4. From the Emerald Dream, fly northwest to the Wellspring of Life.

How to Get to Amirdrassil from Valdrakken (Direct Route)

1. From the Seat of the Aspects, take the shortcut portal to the Emerald Dream (unlocked after the first two chapters of Guardians of the Dream).
2. Alternatively, fly to the Ancient Bough in Ohn’ahran Plains and use the portal there instead.
3. Once inside the Emerald Dream, head to the Wellspring Overlook flight point, then continue west to the Wellspring of Life.
4. The raid entrance sits at the temple in the forecourt, with a Summoning Stone nearby for the rest of your group.

🎯 You don’t need to finish the whole Guardians of the Dream campaign to reach the raid, but completing Chapter 3 clears out the hostile mobs patrolling the forecourt, making it a much calmer spot to gather your group.
