How to Get to Razorwind Shores from Orgrimmar
This is the standard entry point for Horde characters coming from Orgrimmar:
- Head to Orgrimmar’s portal room.
- Look for the portal inside the Pathfinder’s Den — it’s been placed front and center among the more relevant, current portals.
- Step through to arrive at the Entrance Gate, the main arrival point in Razorwind Shores, which also has a flight master and a portal back to Orgrimmar.
How to Get to Razorwind Shores Using the Housing Dashboard
If you already own a plot, this is by far the fastest method:
- Press H (default keybind) to open the Housing Dashboard.
- Select your Razorwind Shores home from the dropdown in the top-right corner.
- Click to teleport directly to your plot.
This teleport has a 15-minute cooldown, but it works from anywhere in the game world, no travel required.
How to Get to Razorwind Shores for the First Time
If you haven’t unlocked housing yet:
- Log in on a Horde character after Patch 11.2.7 — you should automatically receive A House For You, the first quest in the housing tutorial.
- Follow the quest to Orgrimmar’s portal room and take the portal in the Pathfinder’s Den.
- Complete the short intro questline to claim your first housing plot.
How to Visit a Friend’s House in Razorwind Shores
You don’t need your own plot to visit:
- Right-click a party member’s portrait and select View Houses.
- If they own a home in Razorwind Shores, you’ll be teleported directly to it — this works even for Alliance characters visiting a Horde friend’s plot.
A Note for Alliance Players
Razorwind Shores is the Horde-side neighborhood — Alliance characters normally end up in Founder’s Point instead when using the equivalent portal in Stormwind’s Wizard’s Sanctum. Housing plots themselves are tied to faction, but you can still visit Razorwind Shores as an Alliance player through the View Houses option on a Horde party member, regardless of your own faction.
