How to Get to Orgrimmar from Silvermoon City (Midnight Hub)
Since Midnight rebuilt Silvermoon City as the expansion’s central hub, this is the route most players will use daily:
- 1️⃣ Head to the main capital city portals, located inside a building just to the right of Wayfarer’s Rest in Silvermoon.
- 2️⃣ Use the Portal to Orgrimmar there.
- ✅ Silvermoon City is a sanctuary zone, so both factions can move through it safely — but stepping through into Orgrimmar itself puts Alliance characters in hostile Horde territory.
How to Get to Orgrimmar from Oribos
In Oribos, head up to the Ring of Transference. On the west side of the ring, you’ll find the permanent portal straight to Orgrimmar.

There’s no portal directly between the two capitals, since they’re rival faction cities. Alliance characters wanting to reach Orgrimmar for achievements or exploration can:
