How to Get to Parhelion Plaza From All Cities

Parhelion Plaza is one of the few WoW locations that means two completely different things depending on which version you’re playing, and mixing them up wastes a lot of travel time. In Retail, it’s the newest Delve added in the Midnight expansion, tucked on the western side of the Isle of Quel’Danas. In TBC Classic, Parhelion Plaza is the opening area of the Sunwell Plateau raid — not a standalone zone you can fly to on its own. This guide covers the fastest route from every major city, for both versions.

What Is Parhelion Plaza? (Retail vs. Classic)

Before picking a route, confirm which one you’re after:

• Retail (Midnight): A three-variant Delve located on the Isle of Quel’Danas, near the Sunwell. The entrance is easy to miss because it’s downstairs inside a building rather than an obvious cave or door on the surface.
• TBC Classic: Parhelion Plaza is the garden area just inside the Sunwell Plateau raid entrance, where the Sunblade blood elves are fought before the first boss. How to Get to Parhelion Plaza from Silvermoon City (Retail)

Retail (Midnight)

If you haven’t already found your way to the rebuilt capital, our guide to Silvermoon City covers every route in. Once you’re there, it’s the main hub for the entire Midnight expansion and the fastest launch point for the Retail Delve:

1. From Silvermoon City, head north out of the city gates toward Eversong Woods.
2. Take the flight path to the Isle of Quel’Danas (available once you’ve progressed past the Midnight intro storyline).
3. On the isle, head to the western side of the island near the Sunwell.
4. Look for a building on that side of the isle and go downstairs — the Parhelion Plaza Delve entrance is inside, not on the surface.

Both Horde and Alliance can use this route now that Silvermoon functions as a shared Midnight hub, so there’s no separate Alliance detour needed here.

How to Get to Parhelion Plaza from Shattrath City (Classic)

Classic (TBC)

1. In Shattrath City, look for the portal near the Aldor/Scryer area (behind where Exarch Nasuun stands).
2. Note: this portal only opens after the Shattered Sun Offensive has reclaimed the isle to a certain phase — it isn’t available on a fresh account from day one.
3. Taking the portal drops you at the Sun’s Reach Sanctum on the Isle of Quel’Danas.
4. From Sun’s Reach, head to the Sunwell Plateau raid entrance to reach Parhelion Plaza inside the instance. You can also report to Archmage Ne’thul on the isle, who ties into the Sunwell storyline quests.

How to Get to Parhelion Plaza from Ironforge (Classic, Alliance)

Classic (TBC)

1. Level 65+ Alliance characters automatically learn the flight path from Ironforge to the Isle of Quel’Danas.
2. Take the gryphon — once it passes the front gates of Ironforge, it teleports directly to the edge of the isle instead of flying the full distance.
3. Land at the Shattered Sun Staging Area, then head toward the Sunwell Plateau entrance for Parhelion Plaza.

How to Get to Parhelion Plaza from Light’s Hope Chapel (Classic, Alliance)

Classic (TBC)

Light’s Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands is the backup Alliance flight path if you’d rather not fly from Ironforge:

1. Speak to the Alliance flight master at Light’s Hope Chapel — the Isle of Quel’Danas flight path unlocks automatically at level 65.
2. Fly directly to the Shattered Sun Staging Area on the isle.
3. Continue to the Sunwell Plateau entrance to reach Parhelion Plaza.

Finding the Parhelion Plaza Delve Entrance on the Isle (Retail)

⚡ Quick tip: this is the part most people get stuck on. The Delve entrance sits on the west side of the Isle of Quel’Danas, near the Sunwell complex, but it’s downstairs inside a building rather than a visible door at street level. Head to the western structures, take the stairs down, and the entrance will be there.
