Gold matters on Ascension WoW just as much as it does anywhere else — mounts, profession materials, gear upgrades, and Auction House flips all rely on a steady income. The good news is Ascension has several gold-making systems layered on top of standard WoW farming, some of which don’t exist on other servers at all. Here’s what actually works.

Call Board Dailies: The Most Reliable Gold Source

The Call Board is Ascension’s daily quest hub, and it’s widely considered one of the best consistent gold sources in the game. Completing daily quests through the Call Board rewards gold, materials, and progress toward loot boxes — and PvE Call Board dailies in particular can be repeated efficiently if you group up near a quest cluster and hand them in on repeat.

A few tips that make this method far more efficient:

• Group up. Random groups work just as well as organized ones — everyone benefits from clearing the same quest cluster together.
• Consider a Portable Call Board. This is a purchasable convenience item from the Ascension store that lets you turn in Call Board quests without traveling back to a capital city, which cuts a lot of downtime out of the loop.
• Prioritize gathering professions like Mining, Herbalism, or Skinning for extra Call Board rewards and raw material income on top of the quest payout.

High-Risk Farming: The Endgame Meta

For players comfortable with open-world PvP risk, High-Risk farming is generally considered the strongest gold-per-hour method at max level. When High Risk is enabled, you get a loot tier buff tied to your current item level (the higher your gear, the better your loot chances), which stacks on top of whatever you’re farming.

• Gem crafting — watch the Auction House for cheap raw gem materials, craft them into finished gems, and resell for profit.
• Tailoring — crafted cloth and bags can sell well, though certain recipes are limited by daily cooldowns.
