🗺️ How to Get to Warspear from Orgrimmar
The main portal into Warspear sits in Orgrimmar’s portal room, but it’s tucked away from the primary layout:
- Head to the main portal room in Orgrimmar.
- Right before entering the primary room, look for a doorway on the left-hand side leading down a set of stairs (roughly 54.8, 90).
- This secondary room holds several older expansion portals, including the Portal to Warspear, Ashran.
- Step through to land directly in Warspear.
How to Get to Warspear from Dornogal, Dalaran, or Valdrakken
Since Warlords of Draenor content remains part of the standard Timewalking rotation, the Warspear portal has been folded into the general portal collections found across several major hubs, including Dornogal, Dalaran, and Valdrakken:
- Locate the portal collection area in whichever current hub you’re in.
- Look for the Portal to Warspear among the older expansion portals.
- Use it to travel directly to Warspear.
Exact placement can shift slightly between patches, so if you don’t see it right away, check near the other legacy-expansion portals rather than the current-expansion ones.
How to Get to Warspear from Your Garrison
If you already have a Garrison from the original Warlords of Draenor leveling experience:
- Simply fly from your Garrison directly to Warspear, since both are on the same continent.
- Alternatively, use a Garrison Mage follower’s portal ability (if unlocked) to jump straight to your Garrison, then fly out from there.
Getting Further: Warspear to Tanaan Jungle
Once you’re in Warspear, there’s a portal to Vol’mar in Tanaan Jungle at coordinates 52.88, 44.19 — handy if your next stop is Tanaan rather than back to Azeroth. There’s also a portal back to Orgrimmar inside the Tower of Elements, the large central building in Warspear.
A Note for Alliance Players
Warspear is exclusively the Horde base camp in Ashran. Alliance characters using the equivalent portal in Stormwind’s portal room (first portal on the left side, before the current-expansion portals) will arrive in Stormshield instead, on the southern end of the same zone. The only way to physically stand in Warspear as an Alliance player is to fight your way there through the Ashran PvP zone itself.
